I noticed this morning that the latest SecondLife Linux client stores its preferences in ~/.secondlife, as opposed to in the application directory, which is what it did previously.

That means an installable package will now work. Yay.

What with the current speed of releases an the size of the pakage (42Mb) I'm rather happy I have ADSL2+ to upload to the repos with :-)
